The spiritual history of North Glengarry is a testament of courage, dedication, and devotion to faith. It is not possible to drive through any of the communities that make up North Glengarry and not see wonderful displays of architecture dotting the landscape. These wonderous monuments erected as monuments of devotion to their faith, the churches of North Glengarry are both historic, and still today the spiritual centres of the communities. One of the area's most hisoric sites are St. Raphael's Ruins. St. Raphaels Mission was considered the "Cradle of the church in Ontario". North Glengarry hosts churches for many denominations of faith, including: Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Christian, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, and United.
